A central element of Angie Howden-Duke’s Yoga Therapy methodology is the use of slow, intentional movement combined with breath awareness to cultivate a deeper connection to the body. Rather than focusing on performance or intensity, sessions emphasize attentive, mindful movement that helps individuals reconnect with subtle sensations within the body. This approach allows patterns of chronic tension, bracing, and protective holding often created by stress or emotional experiences to gradually soften.
